Hey Bufsters,

I am really looking forward to our service on Thursday. here is the time schedule for the next 2 days:

Wednesday

6-7 Small Group Rehearsal

I will be available to work with small groups to help tune you up for the big show in fifteen minute intervals. If you would like a specific time to work with me just email me back to confirm.

7-8:30 Finishing touches on our pieces.

8:40-9:20 finishing touches on chamber music.

Thursday

6:45 warm up and final run throughs.

8 christmas eve service starts.

Thanks for all your work so far. We are in good shape for a well prepared performance if we stick to it.

Great rehearsal

Dear Choristers,

We are making a lot of head way on O Magnum, I feel that there really is no limit to our growth on this song. I will post some you tube videos for good examples of diction and phrasing.

Earth song is also getting there. This will be a nice piece for us. the nuance in dynamic and breathing in Earth Song really became apparent to me tonight. Thank you for your attention to tuning and blending that we worked so hard on last week.

Finale Completed... I think

Dear Cast,

here is the Finale Finished, There are probably several errors and other things that we may have to change but it should give us an idea... a place to start.

Andrea,

I cleaned up the ending and in doing so added a few little things that you may have questions about (mm 65-71 in particular. See what you can do with that). We may have a chance to talk them through before rehearsal tomorrow or not. we'll see. email me if you have any thing pressing.

Vampires,

most of the parts are spoken but i added a few harmony things in that we should look at. nothing too difficult but worth a look.

Chorus

Nearly every thing is the same except for a few addition of the Bel-tone "Beware" in a couple of spots. you will have to be on your toes for that but I think well get it.

Way to go!!

Dear choristers,

What a great showing we had today!! I got coment after coment on our
performance. We even have another alto who would like to join!! I am
looking forward to the next few months and pushing us to even greater
heights.

Did amyone see the fantastic sign that beth Made???? It is wonderful!!
Helpe find a good place to hang it.

Maple Alley inn Plan

Dear Choristers,

Because of the meeting tomorrow night that is going to be in the sanctuary, we will have rehearsal after the meeting at 7:30. The meeting will be over by then and I know there are several choir folks that are very interested in attending the meeting.

We had talked about starting at the normal time and having rehearsal down stairs but after consideration I feel that starting late is a better situation for us.
